Anubis, as every scholar of Egyptian history (and indeed every fan of Stargate) is doubtless aware, was the Jackal-headed guardian of the ancient Egyptian underworld. Anubis, when he wasn’t manhandling Kurt Russell, spent much of his time guarding graves, embalming corpses and weighing hearts – to determine who was worthy of entrance to the realm of the dead and who wasn’t. Of course, not many people take his existence all that seriously any longer, and so he’s afforded plenty of time to relax – and what better way to relax than by attending a Halloween party?
This costume allows you to bring the ancient Egyptian god of all things dead and dying to the party, and to do so in the style he deserves. It consists of a black tunic with gold trim, including a dazzling gold collar, armbands and a sash.
