Christmas Jumper Day 2015!
ITV’s Text Santa is back this year for festive fundraising with Christmas Jumper Day! Follow in your favourite TV personalities footsteps and whip your winter woollies out and get your money making hats on to make this year a success!
Where Your Money Goes
Previous years have seen Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper campaigns raise huge amounts of money and support here in the UK. This Year ITV’s Text Santa will help make it the best year yet! Proceeds from this year’s fundraising will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, the Make A Wish foundation and, of course, Save The Children. With your support nurses will be on hand to help those suffering the effects of cancer, terminally ill children will get the Christmas they deserve and children in the UK and across the world will receive support when they most needed. What better reason do you need to get a team together and raise money this winter?
On Friday 18th December, don your Christmas knits and festive fluffies and get involved. You can download your very own Text Santa fundraising pack so that you and your friends, family, colleges and classmates can all do their bit for charity this season. There are so many things you can do to raise money so why not try your hand at something creative! Why not see how many festive jumpers you can wear at once, you might even beat the world record! You could hold a Christmas jumper decorating competition or even knit your very own. “I’m A Celebrity” will be donating 15p for every telephone vote made on the day, Sir Bruce Forsyth will be appearing in Downton Abbey and Keith Lemon will be doing his bit. Even pizza king Papa John’s will be getting involved by donating 50p per XXL pizza purchased and giving away 100 pizzas to the first 100 people who donate £3 or more to Text Santa! Yummy!
Do you have your Christmas Jumper sorted for this year’s charity event? If not then you’re in luck! Hollywood has a great range of Christmas themed jumpers to choose from, including light up ones! Who can resist a woolly Rudolph jumper with a flashing nose currently at the reduced price of £15?
