Who's excited for Easter this year? Well, yeah everyone duh! Just think all that chocolate.... But that's not the only thing we look forward too.


This year Easter is on Sunday the 16th of April, Good Friday is on the 14th and Easter Monday is on the 17th!

  8. The UK’s first chocolate egg was produced in 1873 by Fry’s of Bristol.
  9. The world’s most popular egg-shaped chocolate is Cadbury’s Creme Egg. Workers at Cadbury in Birmingham produce 1.5 million of these every day.
  10. The name Easter owes its origin to Eostre or Eastre, an Anglo-Saxon goddess of light and the dawn who was honoured at pagan festivals celebrating the arrival of spring.
