The sun is shining and the summer festivals are upon us. With food festivals, music festivals and family festivals. There is a something for everyone. So get your festival hat on and party the summer weekends away.

National Summer Festivals

The first festival of the season is Isle of Wight Festival, 19th June to 22nd June at Seaclose Park Newport. The fancy dress theme is neon jungle. So grab your neon animal print and dance the weekend away.

Isle Wight Festival is quickly followed by the most famous music festival in the UK Glastonbury, on the weekend of 25th -29th June. Anything goes for Glastonbury, so go with what you want.

Local Festivals

Here in Bournemouth, Poole and Southampton we have a wide variety of summer festivals.

Country and western festivals are on the increase and Upton Country Park has jump on the band wagon. Country in The Park is part of a music weekend over 4th, 5th and 6th of July. Friday is ladies night, Saturday is super family singalong and the 6th is wild west. So grab your cowboy hats and boots and head on down to the saloon.

Camp Bestival at Lulworth Cove is one of the best family friendly festivals out there, introduce your littles ones to the festival life. Over the weekend of 31st July - 3rd August this festival is jammed pack with things to do. The best thing is they have a fancy dress theme and this year it is one massive Pyjama Party. We have some brilliant animal onesies that would be perfect for this.

Southampton also has a western festival on Saturday 2nd August. Country Road festival is at the Silverlake Stadium, and is going to be the ultimate outdoor country music festival.
