Here at Hollywood we could not be more excited to be opening the doors of our brand new Weymouth branch! On Friday 27^th February Hollywood will be re-launching “The Party Shop” and you’re invited! Weymouth thought the party was over when their beloved Party Shop closed its doors at the start of the year, but the Hollywood team are here to keep the party spirit alive! We’re going to bring the fun back to 37-39 Abbotsbury Road so come and join us between 12 noon and 7pm!

Who Are We?

Hollywood Fancy Dress is a family run business which first opened its doors in the eighties with a tiny shop on Castle Lane in Bournemouth. The shop became such a success that it has not stopped expanding ever since and we are proud to have added the Weymouth store as the 4th member of the Hollywood family.

What Do We Do?

We promise to keep the good people of Weymouth happy with the best fancy dress costumes around. When you come to Hollywood you’ll find all of your favourite superheroes like Batman, Superman and even Bananaman! We have a stunning range of fairy tale characters for guys, gals and even your little ones too so you’ll never be short of choice when you need a costume. The hilarious new “Carry Me” costumes certainly won’t disappoint for a big night out. Just hop in and look like you’re being carried by a gorilla, clown, horse, gnome, chicken or even a Leprechaun! Whatever you need, whether it’s something funny for a hen or stag weekend, a spooky delight for Halloween, or a festive Christmas costume, we’ll be here to help. With World Book Day coming up it’s the perfect time to come and browse our new kid’s costumes too! There’s something for every boy and girl from Matilda to Elsa and Olaf to Dennis the Menace, they will be spoiled for choice. If you’re not one for full on fancy dress then come and marvel at our staggering collection of accessories. There are wigs of every colour, tights of every design and glasses of every shape you can imagine. For those that like a bit of elegance then we even have hundreds of gorgeous masquerade masks to choose from. We put the “art” into “party” don’t you know? But it’s not just fancy dress you’ll find within Hollywood’s walls; we also stock a huge variety of balloons and party decorations for all occasions! Whether your sister’s had a baby, your granddad’s turning 90 or your dogs are getting married, we can kit you out with the finest decs available!

So if partying is your thing, be sure to add Friday 27^th February to your diary as Abbotsbury Road will be alive with colour and excitement for Hollywood’s grand opening. Come and meet our beloved mascot Lenny the Lobster for a fantastic photo op, he has been busy stacking the Party Shop shelves for weeks so come and show him some love! The wonderful guys from Wessex FM will be joining us for fun and frolics during the day and they will even be giving away vouchers! If that wasn’t exciting enough, customers that make a purchase in the Weymouth store on our opening day will be entered into a prize draw to win an IPad! Yes, you read that right... AN IPAD! See us in store for competition terms and conditions. But wait... There’s more! It’s not just Hollywood having a huge launch, Flaming Jack's bar and grill are also launching the same day and just across the road too. After all, what good is a party with no food or drink?! We will be taking the party to Flaming Jack’s in the evening so come and join us for a beverage or two! With 2 fresh, new and exciting businesses opening their doors, it’s certainly a great opportunity to come down and show support for local trade. There is so much up for grabs, so why would you choose miss out?!
