Calling all Bournemouth Uni students! The SUBU Summer Ball 2025 is up on us. With just 2 and 1/2 weeks to go, the legendary annual day festival returns open exclusively to BU & AUB students only (plus their guests) have you got your ticket?

The SUBU Summer Ball is Bournemouth University and Arts University Bournemouth’s exclusive student festival. This annual bash is dedicated to celebrating the end of the academic year and is the biggest in the UK.

Since the first one in 1994, the Summer Ball has been the highlight of students' academic year. With dress code not a formal one like other summer balls, oh no, here in Bournemouth we have fun and Fancy Dress IS A MUST. So grab your friends and decide on a theme and get yourselves down to Hollywood Fancy Dress.

What Theme Shall We Choose we hear you cry!

Well, there are so many to choose from. There is the old classics, like pirates, cowboys, or pimps. Or the good old favourite cops and robbers and army. Why not mix it up with flower power 60's, or fabulous fifties. Then there is of course the colourful 80's. Or how about T.V and film themes. The list is endless.

I am on a budget what you got for me?

Well fear not here at Hollywood Fancy Dress, we have costumes, starting from £15. Or you can accessorise up what you have at home. We cater for all tastes and budgets.

When are you open?

We are open Monday to Saturdays 10am - 5.30pm, and we will even be open Bank Holiday Monday 26th for you.

Road works, what road works!

Do not be put of by the road works outside our Castle Lane branch, we will be open through out. Park over at Pizza hut and walk on over, we are standing by to welcome you with open arms.
