For the most magical weekend Hampshire has to offer, get the whole family down to Burley for the New forest Fairy Festival! On Saturday 13^th and Sunday 14^th the forest will be alive with wonder, glitter and the fluttering of wings.

The New Forest Fairy Festival

Deep in the heart of the New Forest lies a place where you can set your spirit free and leave all inhibitions behind. Once a year people from all across the South gather for the New Forest Fairy Festival. From 10am until 6pm treat the whole family to live music, fancy dress, circus workshops and much more all included in your ticket price! Dragons on Wye Ten will be back with their fantastic puppetry featuring fairies, unicorn and, of course, dragons! There will be belly dancing with Tree Russell and circus skills from Gypsy Pyksy as well as rune reading and crystal workshops. The fun doesn’t end their either as you’ll be treated to storytelling, tarot reading and crafts with the Funky Festival Company too. You’re in for a real treat when it comes to music at the New Forest Fairy Festival! There’s so much home grown talent on display here so make sure to catch all of the acts performing. First of all, we have the Mother Ukers who bring you the best music from the last 100 years blended with ‘Ukular fusion’ to make it truly unique. You can see this ukulele madness on both days of the festival. Guitar duo De Fuego will be bringing you rumba and flamenco festival tunes while the Dream Catchers will inspire with a whole medley of instruments. Solo artist will include the soulful Victor Chetcuti, Jasmine Branca and nick Hayward-Young. Not only will the New Forest Fairy Festival be packed full of entertainment, there will also be a great variety of food and drink on offer. You can find all sorts here with oriental, Indian and Italian cuisine amongst all of the delicious family favourites such as tea and cake, ice creams and even gourmet beans!

What To Wear?

As the name suggests, there will be a lot of fairies at the fairy festival so why not join in? You can wear anything from a simple set of wings, to a full on fairy godmother gown!
