Glastonbury Festival Every year the small Somerset town of Glastonbury with less than 9,000 residents springs to life with hundreds of thousands of visitors coming to enjoy all that the festival has to offer. Worthy Farm becomes a hive of activity with huge live bands and artists display the best the UK has to offer. Glastonbury Festival has come an awful long way from its humble beginning back in 1970 with an attendance of 1,500 people and £1 tickets (which included free milk from the farm).
